Design, Bitches has designed the flagship café for Roadrunner Coffee, a new women and indigenous owned community hub based in Redlands. The design is inspired by the materiality of the desert and geography of the land which means so much to the family – the name was derived from a vision the owner had before the birth of her daughter.

Colors form a muted palette of earth tones and blush reminiscent of sunsets. The curves of the ceiling soffit and bar alcove echo the weather-worn desert landscape. The owners saw an opportunity to create a space that didn’t exist – a kid-friendly café offering elevated design and a friendly place to meet up with friends & neighbors, study or grab a cup to go.

We worked in collaboration with the owners to create a unified creative direction between the Brand Identity and Interior Design.  The color palette and curves of the logo invite adventure and evoke the passing of time and the warmth of the offerings.
